Who we are and what we offer

The Center for Systems Psychodynamics (TCSP) is a leading provider of training, professional development, and consultation services for leaders and organizations worldwide.

Mission:

To provide high quality professional development offerings on groups, organizations, and systems work from a systems psychodynamic perspective. To provide consultation services to organizations and leaders seeking our services.

Vision:

To serve as a hub within the group relations, group psychotherapy, organizational development, consulting, and executive leadership spaces for systems psychodynamic theory, practice, and consulting. TCSP will both serve as a leader in serving today’s academic and work communities and will train the next generation of systems psychodynamic consultants. All of the Center’s work will be conducted with a view to social locations and what Meyer (2003) famously called “minority stress.” Because the majority of the Center’s faculty will be made up of professionals who are from marginalized backgrounds and are deeply socially conscious humans, we will center collaboration, mutual benefit, support, and collective action in our work and in our relationships with each other and with our community and organizational partners.

Services:

  • Trainings on large groups, small groups, group-as-a-whole phenomena, systems work, and organizational consulting

  • Consultation services to leaders and organizations seeking assessment, experiential learning, role analysis, executive coaching, and/or staff development.

Center leadership:

Joshua “Ale” DeSilva, Psy.D., CGP, AGPA-F, Founder, President, and CEO

Dr. DeSilva will direct the Center’s activities including both the Training and Consultation arms of the Center’s work. Dr. DeSilva will serve as coordinator for training and consultation projects and will reach out to other faculty to form project teams.
